Awesome!!! I love the colors in the kids' bathroom and your boy's room - heck, I love 'em all. You must be so excited to see the progress and to see it starting to look like a home again! Love to all of you! XOXO
I can't imagine what it's like to lose your home. When I was a kid, we were luckier than the neighbors in the aftermath of the big quake. Even though I know you would have avoided this altogether, thankfully there is insurance to help you rebuild and start again. It's looking gorgeous!
Yay! I'm so excited to see everything coming together for you! :) Love the color in your girl's room. :)
Oh my goodness! Move in day is getting closer! I'm so excited for you!!!
Awww, girl, I'm so happy for you. Looks like the house is coming along beautifully. I'll never forget those photos after the storm (sure you won't, either), and I can't wait for the post that says, "We're home again!" From the looks of things, that shouldn't be long, now. Am thinking of you!Debbie in S. Florida
Sweetness, tit's a relief to see these pictures, and to know that your house is ready and waiting for you to move in (well, give or take a few details, like decisions decisions over carpets and actually installing the kitchen.) I'd love to see what you did with the wood from the tree and the bricks from the Wall That Saved Your Skins (yes, very 101 doggies, eh?) because THAT HOUSE OF YOURS? It saved your lives. The new one will stand in awe, straight and proud to be in its place. Love you girl. Anna
I'm delighted for you. Glad to see everything is coming along. :)
@SR Thanks so much gorgoeus, the kids got to pick out their own colors, they went bold! haha@charmine The insurance made all the difference. We have Traveler's and they have been fantastic. @Rachel Thanks! That pink glows! haha@Grace They tell us June now, trying not to be disappointed. @Debbie You are so damn sweet! It will be a great day. @Anna I miss my old house, it will always will e a friend in my head. I was totally bummed that they couldn't use my kitchen sink, I really wanted to see a piece of the old in the new. At least we will have the tree as a table, I will be sure to post pictures. ((hugs)) Love oyu right back! @Thanks Carol!! It seems like this last part is taking longer, even though there were months of nothing. The excitement is killing me. haha
OMG, that's one hell of a tree. FYI, I am an interior designer, with a real degree and everything, so if you ever need any design questions answered just let me know. Although, I'm probably a day late and a dollar short, it looks like you are well under way.
Everything looks wonderful, Debra. The tree is going to be a table? Awesome. Feather
