I'm so excited that you can rent a lot of my books through HOOPLA! 

 

When I was a kid, my mom took my sister and I to the library all the time. She would check out a stack of books and so would my sister. I would get books and also rent stuffed animal puppets. God, how I loved those puppets. When it was time to take them back, mom would always ask to renew my favorites. It made us feel lucky and chosen. We could pick any book we wanted. It was a ticket to creating our own universes in our brains.

 

So when I was able to search for my books on HOOPLA, (it could also work in other providers, you have to check to see what your library uses) I felt like it was a full circle moment. So this newsletter is dedicated to my mom, who would pay the late fees when we were late with books, and keep bringing us back week after week. Thanks mom!
